There are many excellent pubs and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of Frampton House. They range from the high end luxury of the Relais et Chateaux Summer Lodge in Evershot to excellent local establishments for ‘good pub grub’ like the Saxon Arms at Stratton. In between there are many fine places to try - whatever your taste in food you will not be disappointed.

The Acorn Inn - Evershot. 01935 83228 [15 minutes drive] Gastro pub with good food. Very popular with our guests.
Summer Lodge - Evershot. 01935 482000 [15 minutes drive] Very smart but excellent food part of the Relais et Chateaux Hotel chain with a fine restaurant but priced accordingly!
Little Barwick House - Nr. Yeovil. 01935 423902 [15 minutes drive] Run by some friends, the food here is exceptional, it is the place we would choose for a celebration.
The Fox - Corscombe. 01935 891330 [15 minutes drive] Excellent local pub with very good food, especially fish.
Saxon Arms - Stratton. 01305 260020 [5 minutes drive] Our small local pub reasonable food and reasonable prices - the ‘specials’ board is worth looking at and the ‘bacon and scallop salad’ very good value.
The Greyhound - Sydling St. Nicholas. 01300 341303 [5 minutes drive] Currently our guest's favourite haunt! Good atmosphere and very good fresh seafood, always busy and popular.
The Hive Beach Café - Burton Bradstock. 01308 897070 Only open for lunch and tea. A real must for lunch after a good walk - always busy but service very quick and efficient. Brillant crab sandwiches.
Crab House Café - The Oyster Farm Ferrymans Way, Portland Road, Weymouth. 01305 788867 A little further to drive and a bit difficult to find, but well worth it. Marvellous seafood in a very quirky setting.
Hix Oyster Bar and Fish Restaurant - Cobb Road, Lyme Regis. 01297 446910 Again a little further, but great views over the Cobb and run in style by celebrity chef Mark Hix.
