These days many people like to ‘eat where they sleep’. No worries about driving home and a chance to relax and enjoy your meal.

At Frampton House we try to make dinner a very special occasion for you and your friends. We can accommodate ten people for a dinner party, or two people for a romantic candlelit celebration. If we have a full house - six people - all dining in usually we sit everyone together this gives the evening a very friendly house party feel.

Georgina Maynard was a journalist and wrote about food and antiques for many of the glossy magazines. Nick Maynard ran a fifth generation family food manufacturing business so their ‘foodie’ credentials are excellent.

Georgina describes her cooking as ‘English with a touch of Provence’. Where ever possible we like to use local ingredients, the meat and seafood is good and plentiful in this part of Dorset. We can cater for special dietary requirements and often have a ‘market special’ dish [with an additional supplement] on the menu. A typical menu has a choice of three starters, a main dish of the day, followed by pudding and coffee served in the drawing room.

Breakfast can be either a light meal of croissants, fruit and coffee, or their famous ‘full English’ with Beaminster Bangers. The Weather Forecast is on the table and there is always plenty of advice available to help you plan your day ahead.
